North-West Bohemia has a rich history. You will find beautiful nature formations, and the area has great contrasts. From afar, you'll be greeted by mountains, hills, and rocks—the jagged volcanic peaks of the Bohemian Central Mountains, the mighty wall of the Ore Mountains, and the memorable Mount Ríp. The fairytale landscape of the Bohemian Switzerland National Park and the river Elbe, one of the largest and most important rivers in the Czech Republic, flows right through this region. The fertile banks of the Elbe gave rise to rich medieval towns and castles.
In North-West Bohemia, many walking and cycling routes have been built, making the area an ideal place for a wonderfully relaxing holiday.
