A holiday home is located on a large, spacious and private plot in the middle of the majestic Giant Mountains. This detached house offers complete privacy with several attractive seating areas on the terraces, from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the landscape.
The house was thoroughly modernized in November 2023. This is especially noticeable in the living room, which now has a fresh and modern look. You can warm up by the "atmosphere fireplace" that heats almost the entire house, while a separate wood stove in the kitchen provides extra warmth during the colder months. The living room is equipped with satellite TV with Dutch channels, Chromecast and DVD/video. From here you can access the upper terrace through two patio doors. There is a spacious seating area and a dining table with seating for up to 8 people.
The separate kitchen is equipped with all modern conveniences: an electric hob, microwave, convection oven, dishwasher, large refrigerator with freezer, kettle and a normal coffee maker.
On the ground floor there is a separate toilet and a bathroom with a sink, a single whirlpool bath and a massage shower with rain shower. A very large boiler ensures that you will never be without hot water. Furthermore, there is a washing machine that guests can use for free.

For extra comfort and relaxation, we offer a luxurious hot tub, which can be booked at an additional cost. In addition, a sauna has recently been added and is already included in the price. The spacious terrace, which receives sun all day, is equipped with a comfortable seating area and a BBQ. In the lower garden you can enjoy an open grill, surrounded by a spacious round seating area.
For active holidaymakers, there is a spacious ski storage room right at the front door. In the area you will find several ski areas such as Petříkovice, Mlade Buky, Janske Lazne, Žacléř, Černý Důl and Pec pod Sněžkou, where the highest mountain in the Czech Republic is located. The roads to these areas are well maintained, especially in winter.
In addition to winter sports, there are also plenty of activities in other seasons. Think of golfing, tobogganing, climbing forests, swimming, visiting castles and trips to Prague or the zoo. Various hiking and mountain bike trails start close to the house, leading past watchtowers, World War II bunkers and much more. An outside tap with garden hose is available for cleaning your shoes or bicycles.
There are several restaurants within a short distance with quality meals. More recommendations and tips can be found in the guestbook in the house. For your daily shopping, the large town of Trutnov is only 10 kilometers away, where you will find large supermarkets such as Lidl.
