If you enjoy watching birds, be sure to take your binoculars with you! The area around Kas na Nort is a bird’s paradise.
Around sunset the owls – or ‘palabrua’s’ as they are called in Curaçao – appear, floating majestically along the cliff at eye level.
In the daytime, groups of green parakeets fly off and on with a great deal of hullabaloo. Hummingbirds are attracted by the flowers in the garden. Bananaquit, Oriole, Andes Sparrow, Mockingbird and little Mòfi are also frequent visitors to the garden.
