Stylish and spacious 2 bedroom apartment in Residence Piscadera. A wonderful place to relax on Curaçao! The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a modern kitchen with all the trimmings and a breakfast bar. There is also a bright living room and a large covered balcony with comfortable seating, a BBQ and sea views.
Take a dip in the communal swimming pool or relax on one of the sunbeds. You also have your own parking space in the underground garage.
The location is ideal: beaches, resorts, restaurants and Willemstad are all close by.
Food and drink
In the immediate vicinity you can go in all directions. For example, go to Pirate Bay Beach Club & Restaurant, right on the beach, get tapas at Que Tapa or eat pizza at Tomatoes Pizza Curacao. For fresh fish, you can go to De Visserij Piscadera from Friday to Monday, near the fishing port. You'll also find plenty of choice in the resorts on the bay, such as Ç Spice, Koi Kòrá for sushi and fish, Salty Iguana Grill and Zala Gastro Lounge. Fancy a cocktail with a view of the water? Then Paradise Beach Bar is a nice option.
Beach and water activities
Do you like to be on or under the water? At the dive shop of Dreams/Marriott you can book diving lessons and guided dives or rent equipment. You can also kayak and paddle from the beach. A short drive away are beautiful snorkeling spots, such as Kokomo Beach, with coral near the rocks, Tugboat Beach, with the sunken boat and coral along the rocks, and Little Blue Bay (Boca Sami), where you will find good facilities.
At Playa Piskado, also known as 'Turtle Beach', you can almost always spot sea turtles from the shore. A little further along the west coast you will find places such as Grote Knip, Klein Knip, Kalki (Ali's Reef), Porto Marie and Jeremi, known for their clear waters and beautiful reefs.
Also fun to do
Book a boat trip to Klein Curaçao, go on a catamaran or plan a diving or snorkeling trip to one of the famous reefs. The historic center of Willemstad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is about a 10 to 15-minute drive away. Nice for an afternoon of shopping, a museum visit or a bite to eat. The Hato Caves, with their unusual rock formations and bats, and the Shete Boka National Park, with rugged bays and sea turtles, are also popular trips.
Good to know
For your daily shopping, supermarkets and bakeries near Piscadera and Boca Sami are easily accessible. A rental car is useful if you want to discover the beaches and sights at your own pace, but there are also taxis and shuttles. ATMs and bureaux de change can be found in Willemstad and at the larger resorts.
On Curaçao it is warm all year round, often with a nice northeast trade wind. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. You will hear a lot of Dutch, Papiamento, English and Spanish.
