For rent in a super central location on Curacao!! Our house/apartment is located on a hill in the Seru/Bottelier district. It has 2 bedrooms with air conditioning, 1 bathroom, kitchen, living room and a very spacious veranda of over 30 square meters. From the veranda we look out over the island. The beaches of mambo beach are 1.8 km from our house, Jan Thiel is 4 km away.
The house is fully equipped: washing machine, dishwasher, complete kitchen equipment, TV, Wifi, 220 V, etc. etc.. Also optionally available to rent our island car, a Ford Escape.
This house was completed in early 2023.
The house is located on a gated resort in the Bottelier district. The house is located in the middle of the park with a fantastic view over the island. At the front of the house is a terrace under a palm tree. Via a staircase you walk to the side of the house where there is access to the laundry room with washing machine. In addition, there is a large space under the veranda where, for example, the suitcases can be stored.
Upon entering there is an excellently equipped kitchen.
Both bedrooms have air conditioning and sufficient storage space. Between the bedrooms is the luxurious bathroom with walk-in shower.
The living room has a sofa bed for guests 5 and 6. Various games, music boxes, TV and internet are also available to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
The eye-catcher of the house is the spacious porch/veranda where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Hello, we are Carien and Henry Kielstra and have been frequently found on Curaçao in recent years. That is why we decided in 2022 to buy a house / apartment there. We have fully furnished this completely renovated house ourselves and have enjoyed it several times. We are very satisfied with it and would like to share it with others through rental.

Some sights/tips:
• Swimming with turtles.
o You can make an excursion to Klein Curaçao, but you can also go by car to Playa Grandi, close to West point. The beach is by no means special, but you are guaranteed to encounter sea turtles there.
• Willemstad
o A visit to Willemstad is also recommended. Behind the cinema in Willemstad and opposite the Renaissance Hotel/Casino (Baden Powellweg 1) you can park your car for free in a beautiful parking garage.
• Art market
o On the first Sunday of the month, an art market takes place in and near the Ascension mansion, where the locals sell a variety of handmade art and objects. You can also enjoy pleasant music and the tastiest pastries on the island.
Good food for a reasonable price?
• Rib Factory
o You can eat the best ribs at the Ribs Factory. A small and simple restaurant with plastic chairs on a small road, Oude Caracasbaaiweg 54. The Cajun fries here are highly recommended.
• Lion's Dive
o It is also nice to spend a day at Lions Dive. Located right in front of the Sea Aquarium (Bapor Kibra), the extension of Martin Luther King Boulevard, next to Mambo beach. In the evening you can have a nice meal on the beach in the atmospheric Hemingway restaurant.

• Zanzibar
o Restaurant Zanzibar at Jan Thiel Beach is also a great place to eat or enjoy a Pizza with your feet in the sand. Reservations in the restaurant are recommended, it can be busy.
• Kokomo beach
o Kokomo Beach, also called Vaersenbaai, is a beach that has not yet been discovered by everyone. This may have to do with the remote location, a dead end street, which you normally do not pass by as a tourist. Here too there is a nice restaurant and lounge where you can have a snack and a drink at excellent prices. In addition, you can spend the whole day on this beach.
• Eatery de Buurvrouw
o The restaurant consists of a gigantic palapa and looks cozy. The service is fine, food is good at an average price. The restaurant is located near the Grote Berg on the road to the west point. So ideal to visit after a day at the beach.
• Pirate Bay
o A real family restaurant in a beautiful location in the Piscadera Bay where you can enjoy a romantic meal and the children can play. The price/quality ratio is reasonable.
• The Piscadera Fishery
o Here you can eat the tastiest fresh fish for a good price. A nice restaurant with a slightly different concept than usual. Picnic tables to eat at and a super hospitable service. You line up for your order and then it is later brought to your table based on the number you are given. You can get drinks at another counter.
o It is pleasantly busy with a mix of locals and tourists. This is highly recommended, the food (if you like fish) is a taste sensation. Pay attention to the opening hours because they are only open from Friday to Monday. Make sure you get there on time, you usually have to queue to get in, around half past five it quickly fills up.
• Brakkeput May May
o The restaurant is located on the front terrace of a historic country house and therefore has a unique tropical atmosphere. The menu offers a variety of meat, chicken and fresh fish from the charcoal grill. There are also typical Caribbean snacks and you can put together your own salad.
o This restaurant also has regular live music and offers a free salsa lesson on Monday evenings after dinner.
