About the apartment

Our apartment is located on the first floor of The Garden complex and has its own entrance. You enter the large living room with high ceiling and fans. The living room is equipped with sliding doors to the balcony over its entire length, so you can turn it into one large space.

The spacious balcony has two sun loungers and a seat. Here you can enjoy a lot of privacy, a beautiful view and the cooling trade wind.

The kitchen is fully equipped with coffee makers, a toaster, blender, citrus juicer, kettle, oven and of course a large refrigerator with freezer. In the kitchen you will find a storage room with a washing machine, cleaning supplies, laundry rack, ironing board and iron. A cot and high chair are provided as standard.

From the living room you reach the two bedrooms, each with an ensuite bedroom and plenty of closet space and air conditioning. One bedroom has its own balcony. The other bedroom has a desk to work on.

About the Blue Bay resort

Royal Garden is located on Blue Bay Golf & Beach Resort, a large resort that feels more like a village than a holiday resort! It is spacious and consists of several sections and complexes. Around the corner from the apartment you will find the swimming pool, which is shared with the other apartments of The Garden.

In a few minutes you can drive to the sandy beach (free beach passes) and various catering establishments - from casual beach bar to fancy dining at Brass Boer. The apartment is also located next to the beautiful golf course with a cozy clubhouse.

About the area

A few minutes from the resort you will find a large supermarket, with many Dutch, American and Antillean products. In the immediate vicinity you will also find a mall, good restaurants and beautiful beaches. Both the capital Willemstad and the airport are only a fifteen-minute drive from the resort.

North of the resort you will find the most beautiful beaches and bays, such as Playa Daaibooi, Playa Porto Marie and Grote Knip. You can also swim with turtles at Playa Grandi/Playa Piskado.

We have been in love with Curaçao for a few years and found our dream place in 2023: Blue Bay. We rent two apartments at this wonderful resort.

Elise is a cultural coach and theater maker through and through. In addition to his job as a theater teacher, Richard has a passion for special and rare guitars and scours the world for them. We are also parents of Joris who gives life even more color. A creative and enterprising couple with an eye for detail.

Explanation of prices

Prices include:
  • Bed linen and made beds
  • 1 towel package per person
  • Interim cleaning for stays of 9 nights or more
  • Beach passes for Blue Bay Beach

Cancellation policy

If the tenant wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the tenant must always confirm this to the landlord by e-mail (even if this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone, for example). The landlord charges the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:
  • cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
  • cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price
  • cancellation between the 59th and the 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
  • cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price
If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he or she will no longer use the rented property, he will still owe the full rental price.
