Comfortable, fully detached Caribbean villa for 6 people in the beautiful Blue Bay Golf & Beach Resort on Curaçao.
Wonderful on holiday...... Our secluded villa with lots of privacy is very suitable for this. The Blue Bay villa is built in Caribbean style, is spacious, comfortable and has a beautiful, completely unobstructed view of the tropical garden, the flamingos at the lagoon and the golf course and is within walking distance (100 meters) of the beautiful 'Blaauw Bay' (BlueBay) Beach (free access for our guests) and the swimming pool at about 30 meters. Also for the Blue Bay golf course, our guests are entitled to a discount on the green fee for both the 9 holes and the 18 holes.
The villa has 3 bedrooms with air conditioning, 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets (including a guest toilet). Furthermore, the villa has WiFi, a TV (with subscription), a washing machine and a safe. The villa is equipped with all modern conveniences including a fully equipped open kitchen with bar (dishwasher, microwave and a Nespresso machine!), a spacious living room with a very spacious veranda. There is also a baby cot and high chair available.
And what is very important: the villa is nice and cool. By means of the wooden shutters and ceiling fans (inside and outside) you flawlessly determine the most pleasant temperature. And as indicated earlier, all bedrooms have good air conditioning.
The villa is a short walk (200 meters) from the BlueBay beach. One of the most beautiful beaches of Curaçao with a diving school on the beach. Restaurants including the Brass (Jonnie) Boer, which opened in 2023, the beach bar, snack bar with pizza, kids club, Restaurant Coast, Lemon grass and Bayside Boutique Hotel restaurant. There is also the possibility to have a massage on the beach...
The villa is located directly on the golf course, so from the veranda you have a beautiful view of the lagoon with the beautiful pink flamingos.

HISTORY
It is understandable that many people think that the name Blue Bay was chosen because of the beautiful blue water in the bay. Yet this beautiful part of Curaçao was already called Blaauwbaai before 1700, after the then owner Anno Blaauw. He grew limes, oranges and - to make the name even more appropriate - the blue dye indigo. In the 20th century, the plantation became the property of the Jacobs family, who turned it into a farm. In World War II, American soldiers fired cannons at enemy submarines from Blaauwbaai.
