The area
The house is ideally located near Mambo Beach and promenade, as well as the new park Marie Pampoen boulevard. You can enjoy the beach every day, taste various cuisines in one of the many restaurants, dance to the Caribbean music in the bars and explore the nice shops along Mambo boulevard.

Mambo boulevard is also home to the popular Seaquarium where you can swim with dolphins.
Marie Pampoen boulevard offers you plenty of shade at the many playgrounds, fitness equipment, sea pools (to walk through), picnic tables and public barbecues. You are a 10-minute drive from the city center of Willemstad, including the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Handelskade", nowadays filled with terraces to enjoy the view. In this city center you will pass special street wall art (in the city center areas of Punda, Otrobanda, Pietermaai and Scharloo) and of course numerous tourist shops where you can find all your souvenirs. You can also buy delicious fresh fruit and vegetables at the Venezuelan boat market on the Sha Caprileskade.

Finally, there are many snorkeling and diving spots nearby where you can immerse yourself in the rich and amazing underwater world. Curaçao Marine Park is a national underwater park that runs from Willemstad to the easternmost tip of the island. Various boat trips are organized, including to Klein Curaçao, to snorkel and dive to the coral at more exclusive locations. If you want to enjoy other beaches besides Mambo, it is best to take a rental car to, for example, Playa Porto Marie, Playa Cas Abao, or Playa Kenepa Grandi (Grote Knip).
