Villa Aya was designed by architect Alexis Dornier from Bali, known for hotel Lost Lindenberg (cover ELLE Decoration Italia). The organically shaped villa of 700 m³ offers 180° sea views and is a 10-minute walk from the beach, gym, shops, spa, supermarket, casino and lively beach clubs and restaurants. Interior design by Studio Aya combines custom teak wood furniture, vintage treasures, Balinese natural stone and lime paint with deep pigments to give every room a unique character and soul.
Through a beautiful Balinese teak door you step into the courtyard garden with tropical plants and palm tree. On the other side, the villa shines with architectural elegance. An intimate entrance that immediately makes an impression. Inside you will find four uniquely styled bedrooms (two with partial sea view), a TV room with air conditioning and PlayStation 4, and a laundry room. The fifth bedroom is located opposite the villa in the courtyard garden, where you have a view of the garden and the soft morning sun from your bed through the open sliding doors.
1st floor
At the top of the designer staircase, you are welcomed by the architectural centerpiece of the villa: a large wooden inlaid ceiling and the signature Villa Aya lamp. In the evening, the indirect light creates a dreamy atmosphere. The large organically shaped kitchen island with breakfast bar overlooks the sea. The fully equipped kitchen features a fresh bean coffee machine for perfect cappuccinos and lattes. The floor is made of hand-carved Balinese natural stone, laid in a beautiful flowing pattern that harmoniously blends the space. Slim sliding doors around the kitchen and living room give the wind free rein.
Terrace
The terrace offers panoramic sea views and has an organically shaped canopy which brings both shade and style. Under the palapa, the signature Villa Aya lamp gives a soft light. Large mattresses and soft pillows invite you to relax and enjoy spectacular sunsets. The pool is lined with Art Deco inspired shell motifs, has a shallow lounge area, in-water bar stools and is inlaid with emerald green and blue Balinese Sukabumi tiles, which gives the water a beautiful shine. Woven sunbeds and a spacious dining table with comfortable designer chairs complete the picture for long, relaxing evenings outside.
Villa Aya was completed in June 2025 and is located in the quiet and safe residential area of Vista Royal. Upon arrival, drive through the beautiful entrance gate and arrive at your private driveway, spacious enough for four cars.
You will be welcomed by our enthusiastic manager, who will be happy to show you around and remain available during your stay. Together with the committed management team, she offers a warm, personal service with love for the island and an eye for detail. From a private chef to a hidden cove or the best massage in the shade of the palapa lounge, they love to share their local secrets. Whatever your question, they are available day and night, with sincere attention and a smile.
A nice place for the whole family
Villa Aya has been designed with attention to comfort and safety, even for the little ones. For young children, there are two high chairs and two camping cots (for children up to 3 years) available on request. Everything has been thought of, from children's tableware to blackout curtains in every bedroom, so that you can also enjoy a good nap during the day.
All bedrooms have air conditioning, but those who prefer to let the fresh breeze pass through the room can easily open the window, which is equipped with a mosquito net. Each room has its own small patio with beautiful teak seats from Bali, perfect for a quiet moment with a book.
The design staircase can be fitted with a custom-made stair gate upstairs on the first floor on request. For a safe feeling, without compromising on the interior.
The raised swimming pool (at a height of about 1 meter) has also been carefully designed: you can reach the cooling water via a few steps. Around the outer wall of the pool and the palapa, planters have been placed in two layers. A natural, well-thought-out buffer that fits in with the architectural whole. At the palapa, safety glass has been placed near the large lounge bed, so that you can also relax there while children are around. We do remind our guests to always supervise their little ones and never let them play unattended by the pool or palapa. Because true relaxation starts with peace of mind.
Space for inspiration and rest
For those who want to combine work and relaxation, a quiet workplace has been set up in the bedroom in the courtyard garden. But the ultimate workplace? You might find them at the kitchen island or dining table, with a cup of coffee and a view of the sea.
"Villa Aya is the story of the dream that made it to reality".
We are very proud to call this our home. And even prouder that we can share it with you.
