Villa Bananas Curaçao is our newest gem on Grote Berg! Suitable for long, cozy holidays with your family, relatives, couples or beautiful retreats. We are proud to make this large accommodation (5 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms) available for rent. You can enjoy this to the fullest with a maximum of 10 to 12 people!! And then there is still enough space for 1 or 2 baby cots!
It can rightly be called a tropical house, wonderfully located on the wind and with a large tropical garden. Everywhere you will find nice seats, hammocks, lounge sofas. A large poolside palapa provides much-needed shade and you can cool off in the 8x4m pool.
The 5 bedrooms have wooden shutters, so you can sleep on the wind, if you don't like air conditioning. We have never even used the air conditioners and we have lived there for 2 years! For the warmer nights, there are also fans above the beds, but of course the air conditioning can also be used. All bedrooms are equipped with wonderfully luxurious box springs with thick comfortable toppers. The largest bedroom can be divided into a family room, then 4 people can sleep here!!
Another showpiece is the roof terrace, with a large canopy where you can enjoy the planes approaching Hato. They are especially beautiful to look at, but fortunately you are not bothered by them! This is also the place to enjoy the beautiful sunrise and sunsets!!
The living room has a large opening door, through which the porch is added to the living room. In the living room itself there are sofas, armchair, ottoman and TV. A bookcase with books and games. On the attractive porch, Villa Bananas Curaçao has a large dining table for max. 12 people, for many pleasant evenings of dining.
The 3 bathrooms and the bright kitchen are brand new and fully equipped. In this large kitchen you will find an American fridge-freezer, 2 Nespresso coffee machines and a filter coffee machine, induction hob, dishwasher, convection oven, combi microwave, blender, toaster and even an airfryer!!
Utility room with large washing machine and dryer, but also enough clotheslines to hang everything. Really equipped with every comfort and convenience, so all you have to do is enjoy!! 1 or more cars (SUV, 7 seater, van) are also easily arranged!
Over Grote Berg; A nice, safe, quiet neighborhood, wonderfully located on the wind, nice and central in the middle of the narrowest part of the island. Close to the airport and Willemstad, but especially very close to the most beautiful beaches of the island! Our favorites are Portomari, Cas Abou, Daaibooi and Kokomo and a little further to Westpunt you will find e.g. Grote Knip, Lagun, Kalki and Piskado. You can swim to your heart's content even with the turtles, sunbathe, snorkel, dive fantastically and enjoy all other water sports. We have a lot of tips!
Within walking distance, you will find Bali where you can eat delicious Asian and Surinamese food. In addition, a delicatessen and cocktail bar Shots, also here tasty drinks and good cuisine. In the meantime, a fitness center, a fish restaurant, SuperSandwich, a Spanish restaurant and a hairdresser have recently been added, and another pizzeria will be built in 2026. Just outside the district you will find restaurant De Buurvrouw and Landhuis Daniel. There are so many nice places to eat or drink.
