In 2002 we got to know the region and were charmed by its authenticity, undulating inland with vineyards, olive trees, picturesque villages and friendly people. We enjoyed the beautiful coast with deserted bays, islands and coastal towns. We have renovated the apartment while retaining its character but with every comfort. With our 4 children we have already thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here, had a lot of fun and we want to share this with you.

The old town of Rovinj is build in Venetian style on an island. Rovinj has been connected to the mainland 200 years ago.

Now it has become a beautiful fishing town. Some say this is the most beautiful town on the Croatian coast. It is not for nothing called the "Pearl" of the Istrian coast.

Because the peninsula is a semicircular hill, with medieval buildings running down to the water, but without a promenade around it, the sight of the old town on the water is truly magnificent.

In the winding uphill streets to the St. Euphemia church it is also delicious wander. On the square near the harbor on the south side of the old town you can enjoy a cappuccino. Rovinj is also popular by artists and painters.

Sights:
- The Baroque Franciscan monastery dating from the early 18th century.
- Regional Museum of Rovinj at the Tito Square.

- POREC: This is a 2000 year old port town on a peninsula with its busy marina and Roman remains. The Euphrasian Basilica (UNESCO list) from the 6th century is the finest example of Byzantine architecture in Croatia. The lively Old Town knew how to keep the charm of the past. You can also enjoy the narrow streets with Roman pavement.

- MOTOVUN: The 13th-century town lies on a 288 meter high hill. The view over the hilly interior is accessible from the majestic city walls. GROZNJAN, another old village is also worth a visit. This picturesque mountain village surrounded by walls is rediscovered by artists.

- Who loves rugged coastlines, quiet beaches and hospitable people should definitely do a trip to the fascinating islands CRES and LOSINJ. After about half an hour you can reach the island of Cres by a ferry from the mainland.
