Makarska is one of the most famous holiday resorts in Dalmatia. a lively and bustling seaside resort in the summer. Plenty of entertainment with countless restaurants and dining options. A large promenade along the beaches for strolling.

In this place we have a beautiful apartment, on the 2nd floor of a small and quiet building. Dutch speaking supervisor lives in the building.
There are spacious and covered terraces on two sides.
The apartment is modernly furnished, with excellent beds, a spacious bathroom and sitting room. The kitchen naturally has a dishwasher and ceramic hob. Naturally, there is air conditioning and a washing machine.
Within walking distance of the center and the beach.
Fly from Amsterdam/Rotterdam (Transavia -Easyjet) or from Germany from Dusseldorf/Dortmund/Frankfurt/Koln-Bonn (Eurowings) directly to Split.
Easily accessible from Split airport by bus or rental car.

From Makarska there are various options for taking a short day trip to, for example, Dubrovnik, Split, Imotski, Omis or Mostar (Bosnia). And if you like nature there is the beautiful Biokova Nature Park on the outskirts of Makarska. From Makarska you can take several boat trips to the island of Brac or Hvar.

TIP: the island of Brac is located opposite Makarska. We also have apartments available here in Povlja.
Easily and quickly accessible by ferry (45 min.) and an 8 km drive! Nice to split your stay into a busier and quieter part!

We, Marian and Willem, spend a lot of time on the island of Brac in the summer, in our quiet location Povlja (see other advertisements). We have been coming here for more than 18 years, but this location was too quiet for some guests.
In Makarska we found a beautiful apartment, completely new, that is well connected to Povlja.
We have a Dutch-speaking (Croatian) neighbor who can assist us and our guests with advice and assistance. That can sometimes be very easy!
