Kavarna is a small seaside resort on the Black Sea, sixty kilometers from the airport of Varna, a city with a population of 400,000. The location of our apartment can best be described as Kavarna by the sea. From our balcony you can see the sea and the beach is a few hundred meters away. The town itself, with the necessary amenities, is much higher within walking distance. Our apartment is part of a building with 42 apartments in different sizes and shapes, which in turn is divided into an A and B section, each with its own entrance, elevator and parking garage. Only from the A section do the balconies have a sea view. By Bulgarian standards, it is very luxuriously built with the use of modern materials and clad facades. Our apartment is on the 2nd floor and we have two parking spaces in the garage below us on the ground floor. It is newly completed and fully furnished and has not been used before.

We have been living in Irecek since 2019, about twenty kilometers from Kavarna, in a house completely renovated by us with 8000 m2 of land in the middle of an agricultural area. No neighbors across the street, nor neighbors left or right. That privacy was one of the reasons for settling here, in addition to the much lower wealth limit, which means that as an AOW pensioner you can get by on your pension here. The country has everything; beautiful coasts, winter sports areas, an authentic population and above all a lot of space.
