This stylish country house is part of the square farm 'de Potaerdehoeve', which dates from 1772. The renovation works were completed in 2021. The interior has therefore been completely renovated and meets high-quality standards. Authenticity and class were central to the renovation. We are really proud of the renovation and would like to share this with visitors. Are you on holiday and want to discover Brussels? Ideal from here in the green belt around Brussels, away from the hustle and bustle! Or would you rather laze on your own terrace, cook in a beautiful kitchen, and enjoy the spacious seating area?
Then make our country house your own home.
Are you in the Brussels area for work? A busy job in Brussels? Irregular hours at a trade fair or working in a nearby company? Are you looking for a place to stay with a homely atmosphere? Then this is the place to be! Our farm is adjacent to the country house, a modern dairy farm where milking is done with robots and the cows receive top care. You'll come and have a look, won't you? This is also a play paradise for children: sandbox, play tower, go-garts, scooters, calves, bunnies and our pony Lotte. The location of the country house is extremely quiet, with cows grazing on the adjacent meadows. With its rural location, this country house is the ideal place to relax, close to Brussels. Unique!
We are happy to relieve you...
Would you like to have a dish ready so that you are immediately in the right mood? We can fill the fridge for you or recommend a chef at home. We are happy to help you find a solution. We work with local businesses for takeaway menus.
Hopefully see you soon!

Your host, Kathleen & Jos

Welcome to our country house at the Potaerdehoeve. We are Kathleen and Jos Van den Houte-Laureys: we also live and work at the Potaerdehoeve. We are dairy farmers. Together with our children: Louis, Hélène, Elise and Stéphanie, we also relax every day among our cows and calves. If you wish, we would be happy to give you a tour of our farm and tell you about our love for our profession.
We wish you a warm welcome!
