Our detached holiday home is located in the old castle farm of the quiet village of Provedroux (Vielsalm) in the beautiful Belgian Ardennes. The house has recently been completely renovated and equipped with every comfort.
Everything is on the ground floor and the large garden is fully fenced.
There are 2 bedrooms each for 2 people, you can choose a double bed or 2 separate beds. Baby cots are also available.

The house is heated by pellet stoves with thermostat that combine comfort with cosiness.
On the terrace and in the garden you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings when the weather is nice, if the weather is not so good you can go to the garden room for an aperitif or bbq.
There is a well-equipped kitchen where you can still find the elements of the old stables and the bathroom with walk-in shower is equipped with every comfort.
Bed-bath and kitchen linen as well as some basic products such as coffee, oil, dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll and toilet paper are provided.

You check yourself in (from 5 pm) and back out (10 am), but we are available if you have any questions. Check-in and check-out hours can be adjusted by mutual agreement and if possible.

Koekulavache is located a stone's throw from the beautiful forest of Ronce with river and pond. Here you can enjoy the natural beauty that the region has to offer. There are several signposted walks, one of which runs past the house. The forests with their wonderful diversity of fauna and flora as well as the peat bogs in the region form an oasis of beauty and tranquility. Hiking, cycling, mountain biking, fishing,... it is all possible as well as all kinds of activities for children. We provide an extensive information brochure with tips in the holiday home.

For winter fun you can go to the Baraque Fraiture, Côte de Wannes and others a few kilometers from the house.
Vielsalm, Gouvy, La Roche, Houffalize, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg (10 km) etc. offer numerous culinary and cultural opportunities. In Provedroux itself, you can get acquainted with a wide range of regional beers and other delicacies in the local breweries La Tharée and Nomad.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

In case of cancellation up to 90 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: free of charge
In case of cancellation from 90 days (inclusive) to 60 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price
In case of cancellation from 60 days (inclusive) to 30 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
In case of cancellation from 30 days (inclusive) before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price
If the tenant only announces on the day of the start of the rental period or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, the tenant will continue to owe the full rent.

First of all, Koekulavache offers you an extremely quiet place in the middle of nature where you can enjoy wonderful walks, bike rides, etc. Also on a gastronomic level, you will not be short of anything with the delicious local products that this region has to offer and the many breweries and restaurants in the area. The ski slopes of the Baraque Fraiture, Côte de Wannes and others are located a few kilometres from the house. For children, there is the Plopsa Coo amusement park, adventure parks, swimming facilities, (indoor) playgrounds, petting zoos and adventure parks in abundance. And the sports enthusiast can have fun in a kayak, on a mountain bike or on the Francorchamps course.
The region also has a lot to offer on a cultural/historical level, such as the war museum in Bastogne, the castles of la Roche and Vianden and historic towns such as Durbuy. If you would like to visit a larger city, our house offers a good base for a visit to Liège, Luxembourg or Maastricht. Finally, the house is located a few kilometres from the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, where shopping enthusiasts can indulge themselves in the various shopping centres.
