Your pet(s) are also very welcome with us.
To give you a pleasant stay, the beds are made on arrival + bath towels.
Since we also live in Fraiture, we are also available on site for any advice or questions.
We have known this area since 2008.
The cozy Petit Gite, which dates from 1713 and was already a hospitable place to spend the night for passers-by of the adjacent stagecoach inn.
The cottage was respectfully restored.
The wooden interior and the natural stone walls create a romantic and authentic atmosphere.
On the ground floor is the living room and completely newly equipped kitchen since 5-11-2024, equipped with 4 burner ceramic hob and combi oven (grill/hot air/microwave), further fridge + freezer, pans + service, double coffee maker (Senseo swift), kettle, kitchen linen are provided.
In addition to the central heating, a wood-burning stove provides extra cozy warmth.
Upstairs 1 bedroom, with 2 x 1 pers box spring beds, these are equipped with bed linen + towels. Bathroom is adjacent to the bedroom. Baby cot + high chair possible on request. For a 3rdperson, a 3rd(good folding bed) bed can be added.
Outside 2 x own private garden + terrace, of which 1 garden + terrace is completely fenced and also with a BBQ.
The Petit Gite is located in the countryside in the picturesque village of Fraiture, in the beautiful, wooded nature reserve, with the ski slope Baraque de Fraiture, the second highest peaks in the Ardennes.
Where you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Ardennes every season.
So an ideal environment for peace seekers, hikers, mountain bikers, cyclists (a cycling route has been set out, departure from the front door of the Gite, can be followed via QR code on an app) there are also routes ready in the Gite.
Or we will be happy to help you on site.
For the winter months, with its own ski slope in the village, namely the ski slope of Baraque de Fraiture, within walking distance. With also departure for a day of cross-country skiing, all equipment can be rented on the slope itself.
For the summer months, it is good to stay along or on the river Ourthe, day canoeing or kayaking. Or canoeing, swimming on/in the reservoir of Nisramont.
Or you can spend a quiet day in the completely fenced garden of the Gite.
Or visit a town or village such as La Roche-en-Ardenne, Bastogne, Houffalize, Malmedy, Stavelot.
