Welcome to the advertisement of Huize Olthof. The house has been in our family for almost 45 years, completely renovated in the summer of 2014 and has been in the rental business ever since .
The chalet is built in Tyrolean style and suitable for 2-8 people. It is completely free in a large private and quiet beautiful garden, in the small hamlet of Wald with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Wald is located in the middle of the beautiful Leukental, about a 15-minute walk from Ellmau. The house is located at an altitude of 790 m2 about 400 meters from the main road, on a cul-de-sac. The house is excellent without snow chains to reach.
The area is characterized by the many possibilities for a wonderful holiday. In front of the house, a few kilometers away (also accessible by free tourist bus) is the beautiful and varied ski area of the Skiwelt Wilderkaiser-Brixental. With almost 300 km of connected slopes, this area is the largest ski area in Austria... And snow is guaranteed because 90% of the slopes are equipped with snow cannons.
But this area is also very attractive in other seasons. When the winter is over, you can walk behind our house to the foot of the famous Wilder Kaiser mountains, an overwhelming nature reserve with countless hiking and climbing routes. Golfers can indulge themselves, because 900m away is the beautiful Wilder Kaiser 27-hole golf course with a breathtaking view of the Wilder Kaiser. At 700m is the very extensive Kaiserbad, a swimming pool with many facilities such as heated indoor and outdoor pool, ice-cold natural pool, slides, playground, restaurant, sauna and indoor tennis courts. Cyclists can ride many beautiful routes with a road bike, but especially with a mountain bike or e-bike.
In the house, the living room is equipped with wood and beautiful stucco and furnished with new furniture. A large fireplace is the cozy centerpiece. Outside, the wood supply is available to you. For the hobby chef there is a new modern open kitchen with Siemens appliances, including a microwave, wagon oven and large American fridge. A cozy wooden corner sofa around the Jogl-tish completes the picture.
There are four bedrooms in total. Three of them are furnished with Tyrolean farmhouse furniture. Two have a double bed and one has a bunk bed. There are two bathrooms for this three bedroom via the adjacent hallway, one bathroom with double sink, bath, shower, toilet and the other bathroom a sink, walk-in shower, toilet, washing machine and dryer.
Since 2020, a 4th extra large bedroom has also been available with a double bed and private toilet and shower. Ideal as a parents' room with plenty of space for one or two foldable and available cots for the little ones. This bedroom costs €200 extra per week.
There is a separate room for storing skis and heating ski boots and with two sleds. There is also a new garden house with basic sports equipment such as tennis rackets, badminton rackets with a net and various balls and football goals. There are children's bicycles (tricycle, 16 inch and 24 inch bicycle) There is a dartboard and there is a large (4m) trampoline. There is also a barbecue and there are garden loungers, sunbeds and parasols.
Dogs (or other pets) are possible in consultation about the rules of the game.
