On the border of Salzbürgerland and Tyrol lies Hochkrimml (1600 meters). The village of Krimml is known for the Krimml waterfalls, the highest waterfall in Europe. Our apartment is located in Hochkrimml, part Duxeralm. This modern apartment built in 1999 is part of a large 'chalet', which consists of five separate houses, of which number 125-2 is the largest.
Hochkrimml is a quiet small mountain village, in the middle of a beautiful nature reserve and consists of a number of (new) chalets, restaurants, a small shop with groceries (only in winter), 2 ski shops with ski rental, ski school and modern ski lifts. Skiing right up to the front door is possible and the cross-country ski trail is right on the doorstep.
Since 2025, there has also been a SPAR supermarket at the new modern Duxerski lift, with extended opening hours, open in winter.
Hochkrimml has a connection with the Zillertalarena.
The house can accommodate up to 8 people. All beds have a lovely down duvet and are 1 person beds.
Has a spacious living/dining room with fireplace and extensive kitchen with induction hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, Senseo and filter coffee maker, kettle, toaster and sandwich maker.
Next to the entrance is a large master bedroom, bathroom with toilet and bath, in which you can also shower, washing machine with drying function.
In the storage room next to the front door are garden chairs, garden table, chair cushions, baby bed and baby chair.
If you go down the spiral staircase you enter a room with 2 bedrooms, bathroom with toilet and shower and sauna.
Through the door you enter the ski cellar, where there is space to put down ski boots and skis. There is also a table tennis table, but bring your own balls and bats.
Also from the house you can make beautiful walks in the Hohe Tauern mountains, including to the Berggeistalm, Gletscherblick, Trisslalm, where you can also eat deliciously. Within walking distance you will also find restaurants: Filzstein and Duxeralm, both also open in summer.
