In all seasons we enjoy our own chalet in the beautiful Annaberg im Lammertal, Salzburgerland. In the periods that we do not use it ourselves, we like to rent it out to people who want to enjoy it as much as we do!
Our house is authentically Austrian furnished. It has a spacious entrance (windfang) where a long sofa and wardrobe can be found.
After the entrance you enter the hall with access to the small bathroom. which is equipped with a shower cubicle and sink. Next to this is a separate toilet and coat rack.
The living room has a corner lounge sofa, easy chair with ottoman, a gas fireplace, TV, radio and a spacious Austrian sitting area. There are also some games in the TV cabinet.
Adjacent to the living room is a sunny, wooden terrace with outdoor furniture. The terrace is adjacent to a lawn where children can play outside.
The kitchen has recently been renovated. It has a large refrigerator, separate freezer, a convection oven, microwave, dishwasher, (filter/Nespresso) coffee maker and kettle. Fully equipped!
On the 1st floor there is a bright hall that gives access to the 3 bedrooms and the spacious bathroom.
Bedroom 1 and 2 have a double bed. Bedroom 3 has a bunk bed. Bedroom 1 and 3 are adjacent to a small balcony with beautiful views.
The bathroom is equipped with every comfort and nice and spacious. There is a shower cubicle, double sink, toilet, hair dryer and a cupboard for all toiletries. In addition, the washing machine and dryer are also set up in this bathroom.
The alpine chalet is located in the Alpendorf Dachstein West park in Annaberg im Lammertal.
The park is located about 70 km from the city of Salzburg and is very easy to reach from the Netherlands. From our house it is a 5-minute walk to slope no.18 at the Astauwinkelbahn or a 5-minute walk to the Donnerkogelbahn, the 8-seater gondola.
In the main building of the park there is an indoor swimming pool and saunas that our guests can use free of charge. In the mini-shop you can go for the (forgotten) daily groceries and to order sandwiches. A large supermarket (ADEG) and bakery are located in Annaberg village 1.5 km away.
Next to the reception there is a small restaurant where you can enjoy coffee and homemade cake and there is regularly a simple menu (also to be taken away).
In the Annaberg - Zwieselalm - Rußbach - Gosau (Dachstein West) ski area, nature lovers as well as sporty and active people will find a whole range of activities in summer and winter. Snow-covered forests, hikes on deserted, glittering slopes, cross-country ski trails and perfectly groomed ski slopes in one of the largest ski areas in Austria, Dachstein West ski area. Enjoy your winter holiday in a fairytale landscape and experience Austrian winter magic in all its diversity! And after a long, active day, you will return to your own wooden chalet to relax, enjoy and unwind!
In spring, summer and autumn, hiking through green meadows with flowers, past idyllic forests, with a view of the mountain peaks that form the breathtaking panorama of the Salzburgerland. After a walk through the Salzburg landscape, you are sure to end up in one of the numerous rustic huts to enjoy regional delicacies.
