Close to the Grossglockner is our recently renovated and fully equipped detached holiday home. The house is located in an authentic village with many amenities. Due to its location on the south side of the Alps, this area has many hours of sunshine. In the vicinity there are 3 ski resorts of 55 km, 37 km and 17 km respectively , 1 of which has eternal snow. The free ski bus stops in front of the door and within fifteen minutes you will be dropped off at the ski lift in Heiligenblut. The ski areas are among the highest in Austria, so they are quite snow-sure.

From home you can take wonderful walks, but with a few minutes drive you are also in the middle of the high mountains to start your walk there. In less than half an hour you are in Lienz, a cozy city with an Italian atmosphere with an extensive range of shops. The lakes of Carinthia are also within driving distance, with the Weissensee certainly worth a visit. You can swim there or rent a boat.
The house is a 10-minute drive from Heiligenblut, a quiet ski village with a cozy après-ski. Even in high season there are no waiting times at the lift! Half an hour's drive away are the Mölltaler glacier (snow) and the Lienzer Bergbahnen. Next to the house is a large ski slope, which is groomed daily by means of snow cannons and is very suitable as a practice slope and for small children.

Our house has 8 very comfortable hotel beds and an extra double sofa bed in one of the bedrooms. Given the quiet location, a good night's sleep is guaranteed!
The house has very spacious living areas. Because there are two floors, it offers sufficient privacy for larger groups. On the upper floor are a large and small bedroom with a total of 4 beds, the living room, the kitchen and a bathroom. On the ground floor is the second bathroom and 2 very large bedrooms, 1 with flat screen TV.

Through the entrance you enter a spacious hall with extensive storage space for skis and ski boots.
The cozy living room with luxurious wood stove has comfortable armchairs and a sofa. In addition, there is an 8-person Austrian sitting area. There is a stereo set with DVD player and a Smart TV (with streaming). Via satellite you receive all Dutch-language channels, among other things. From the room you enter the balcony with a view of the mountains. This allows you to sit outside even when it rains and thunders.
The separate kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, oven, ceramic hob, coffee maker, kettle, fridge and freezer. You don't have to use the dishwasher often, because there is plenty of cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils.
On the upper floor there are also 2 bedrooms, 1 large with 2 beds and a somewhat smaller one with 2 beds. There is also a luxurious bathroom with shower, toilet and bathroom furniture.
On the ground floor there are 2 very large bedrooms with 2 beds each. In one bedroom there is a TV with all Dutch channels, a DVD player, game console with games and other toys. This room also has an extra double bed in the form of a sofa bed. There is also a luxurious spacious bathroom with shower, toilet and bathroom furniture. The bathroom has a new AEG washing machine and dryer.
The garden around the house has good sunlight and there is plenty of garden furniture.
The house is also easily accessible in winter.
There is a friendly key manager present who you can contact with any questions.
At 600 m distance there is a new, large supermarket with fresh bread department, a bank and a butcher's shop. There are several restaurants within walking distance.
Grosskirchheim is still an authentic Austrian village that is not overrun with tourists. It is located in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park, with the Grossglockner as its literal highlight. It is a beautiful nature reserve.
