Haus Seltschach

Haus Seltschach is a comfortable house built with Austrian charm. In this modern holiday home with underfloor heating throughout, a beautiful sunny balcony and a spacious (partly covered) terrace adjacent to a lovely flowing mountain stream you can really relax. Our house, also equipped with a barrel sauna, is located at the foot of the Drielandenpunt (1,560 meters altitude) on the border of Austria, Slovenia and Italy. There you have a beautiful view over the mountains and you can walk in unspoiled nature for as long as you want. 
The unique thing about the Drielandenpunt location is its central location between the various ski areas. From Haus Seltschach you can be in Italy or Slovenia within 10 minutes.

In the immediate vicinity of our house there are extensive walking routes and cycling routes. In winter, you can go cross-country skiing, as well as tobogganing or skiing. To do this, you step into the ski lift within 50 meters of our house that leads you to the higher ski area. You can take the adventurous mountain bike routes or cycle across the Gailtal countryside. Walking in unspoilt nature with fresh, clean mountain air makes you feel more vital.

Surroundings Carinthia is a versatile area with snowy, cold but sunny winters and warm Italian summers. On the other hand, the nights are cooler, so you sleep well.
There is a lot to do in this region in the summer. In addition to using the many cable cars, you can see fun parks, birds of prey shows, castles and museums. So there is also a lot to do here for children. With the use of the Kärnten Card, there is a discount on admission prices.

The Adriatic Sea can be reached within 2 hours, where you can visit cities such as Trieste, Gorizia and  Grado (surprising seaside resort) and enjoy the Italian culture. Slovenia is 20 minutes by car and offers many interesting places to visit, such as the Triglav National Park, the lakes of Bled and Bohinsj, or the cities of Llubljana and Granjska Gora.

Layout

Our house in Seltschach has 3 bedrooms, making it an ideal holiday home for a family of up to 6 to 7 people. The living room has a cosy wood burning stove and patio doors leading out to the terrace with mountain views. The house also has an outdoor sauna. You enter the house in the hall that is adjacent to the toilet and laundry room. Through the hall you also get access to the living room with open kitchen with ceramic hob, oven and fridge-freezer at the front on the ground floor, with tiled floor with underfloor heating. On the sunny side is the living room with 3-seater sofa and spacious dining table suitable for 7 people. A beautiful wooden staircase leads you to the landing of the first floor, which also has underfloor heating. There are also 2 spacious bedrooms with TV. A cot is available. Both bedrooms have their own adjoining bathroom with shower. At the rear is a spacious balcony accessible through patio doors where you can fully enjoy the sun. 
In short, a wonderful villa with a lot of comfort and all conveniences.
