'Glück Auf' is a reference to the region where both Bernadette and I come from, the mining region in Limburg. It is an international miners salute and means something like 'Come up well again'.

The two holiday homes together form one block. We have bought two houses for our own use and to rent out. Both houses can be rented separately or simultaneously. They are equal in dimensions and amenities and are mirror images of each other. You can connect the terraces with each other by means of a pull-out screen. Unique is the enlargement of the balconies that abut each other. At that point they are separated by a wooden partition for the necessary privacy. When renting out both houses to a tenant, it is possible, if desired, to use both balconies by means of a revolving part. Please note: internally there is no passage. Renting two houses at the same time is of course more favorable in price.

The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances, including microwave, oven, hob, dishwasher, toaster, Nespresso machine, conventional coffee machine, refrigerator with freezer, etc.

The living room has a sofa with seating and relaxation options. The TV is a 4K Ultra HD device expanded with a SoundBar. Via Canal Digitaal you will receive almost all Dutch, Belgian, German and Austrian channels in HD quality. Both the TV and the SoundBar are connected to the Internet. Netflix and audio streaming via Bluetooth or Internet are possible.
There is also a wood stove for pleasant warmth.

The washer-dryer combination is located in the toilet room on the ground floor.

On the 1st floor there are two bedrooms, each with a luxurious 2-person box spring bed (leather look), equipped with reading lights on both sides. Furthermore, each bedroom has a large wardrobe. The bedroom on the garden side has French doors to a spacious balcony over the entire width of the house. From here has a wide view of the mountain and the ski lift. The ski lift is open in winter and summer and takes you from 700 meters to 1560 meters. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, one with a shower and the other a bath with shower options. The bath is of course also ideal for small children.

In 2022 we had a fixed staircase installed that gives you access to the 2nd floor. Here are two 1-person box springs.

From the living room you have access to the covered terrace over the full width through French doors. The garden is 20 meters deep and terraced. At the end of the garden flows a small stream accessible to children.
