Very nice house with lovely outdoor space. Renting together if you go with two families is perfect. Cottages are not cheap but quality is good and location is perfect. The fixed staircase to the attic is a real plus compared to a ladder when used. Contact with owners was very good and fast.

Perfect accommodation for the family or together with friends. Positive points:
- Neat and well-groomed
- Spacious and furnished with care
- Sufficient kitchen equipment
- Well-kept garden with nice river at...

Perfect accommodation for the family or together with friends. Positive points:
- Neat and well-groomed
- Spacious and furnished with care
- Sufficient kitchen equipment
- Well-kept garden with nice river at the back and many play options for the children
- Solid garden furniture
- Beautiful surroundings (both Carinthia, Slovenia and Italy)
- Very smooth communication with the tenants

Only downside for us was the quality of the pool water during the second week of our stay. Due to circumstances beyond which the owner could do little, the water became cloudy. A pity, but nevertheless this stay is an absolute must!

The house is complete, everything has been thought of. Lovely beds, 2 bathrooms. Full kitchen. Washing machine. A beautiful garden with swimming pool and a nice veranda. A bbq has also been thought of. If you like peace and quiet and want to make beautiful trips, this is the perfect place!! Thanks to Ruud for the helpful and quick responses to questions. Top! Highly recommended.

Unfortunatly, we have not been able to travel to Austria because of the COVID-19 outbreak. Nevertheless the communication with the owner was splendid and we were able to reschedule our holiday. The owner was thoughtful and flexible. Looking forward to our visit later this year.

We rented both houses at the same time with 2 families (4 and 2 children) for a Winter Sports Week during the spring break.

Our first impression was very good, Arnoldstein is easy to drive to from the Netherlands. Although it is a bit further away than most winter sports areas in terms of kilometers, the trip was not too bad, because it is located directly on the highway, it is not even that much more in terms of travel time and very pleasant to travel.

The homes are in perfect condition and excellently facilitated, lacking nothing. Especially the pleasant child-friendly garden was very popular with the children and because of the beautiful weather we were able to make a lot of use of it.
Despite the fact that it is a small ski area, we had a great time, the children had lessons at ski school (and rental) "Happy" which is located a few hundred meters from the houses.
Everything you wish for skiing within walking distance!
The area is wonderfully quiet, so no long queues at the lifts. The slopes were well groomed.

Owner Ruud responds very adequately and clearly to the questions we asked.

All in all, definitely a place for us to go again!
