At Casa Delfim , a former quinta, we rent two holiday homes together ( Casas Azul and Casa Verde ) or separately, fully equipped, sleeps 8-10 people. The quinta consists of three houses, we (the owners) live in a third house (Casa Amarela) and are your contact person during your stay .

Casa Azul
The private terrace with garden furniture at the front offers privacy for outdoor dining, relaxing or just reading a book.
In the spring you can enjoy the (almond) trees in bloom at the front of Casa Azul.
At the back you can enjoy the tranquility in the courtyard, swimming pool and barbecue.

The houses are simple and all renovated with typical Portuguese materials, which preserve the original style of rustic Portuguese houses.Enjoy your stay in our casa, in one of the three (or all) holiday homes. The courtyard offers total privacy, relax in our patio and enjoy the peace, the sun and the pool.
Enjoy the tranquility of the countryside; Listen to the birds and cicadas and enjoy the breathtaking view of the rolling hills of the Algarve. The self catering holiday homes are all well equipped with TV (with international channels), WIFI, kitchen with all facilities.
There is a separate Launderette where you can wash and dry your laundry.
Private car park with space for 3 cars.

Take a walk to Santa Margarida and enjoy the village and rural views. Santa Margarida has two cafes/shops where you can buy small groceries for your daily needs.

In Alte at 2 km, you will find a nice supermarket with everything for your daily shopping, fresh bread, fresh vegetables, delicacies, vegetables, drinks, a butcher department and many foreign products. In the center of Alte there are a few cafes.
The café (pastelaria) Agua Mel, offers a wide variety of pastries, typical in Portugal, fresh orange juice, but also local jams and liqueurs. Good service and free Wi-fi. Also try a “Tosta” (tostie), made from Portuguese bread, tomato, melted cheese, delicious!

In Alte there are a number of nice little shops selling local handicraft products, for example the House of Soap, where soaps are made with local ingredients, such as figs, carob, orange and honey which gives a very original scent to the soap. Alte is a small village, considered by many to be the most typical village in the Algarve, with their whitewashed houses, windows and facades with colorful edges, ornate chimneys and an aura of tranquility.

We are Delfim and Omaira. Delfim is Portuguese and Omaira is from Curacao. We always enjoy Casa Delfim and we gladly let others share in our paradise! We love nature and the authentic Portuguese life. We have lots of information about our fantastic environment, but also on the Algarve, Lisbon, etc. With all the love we put everything out and we provide a wonderful stay in this beautiful area of ??the Algarve. Hiking, biking and beaches (25 min.).

The village of Alte, considered by many as the most typical village in the Algarve, with whitewashed houses, windows and facades dyed with colorful borders, ornate chimneys and pervasive air of tranquility.
The streets of the historic center of Alte have much of their original charm behouden.Rond Church Located in the middle of the beautiful Caldeirão mountain range (Serra do Caldeirão)

In the center of the Algarve, 20km north of Albufeira, on the provincial road N124. The village dates from Roman times and has an Arab past that can be observed in detail filigree chimneys houses siert.Het center of this white village is the church Nossa Senhora de Assuncao. This church dates from the 13th century and houses some very special hand-painted pieces from the 16th century. Not far from the church there is an old watermill which also dates from the 13th century.

There are plenty of small cafes, restaurants where you can relax and enjoy the tranquility of the dorp.Ontbijt at Agua Mel, Alte Pastelaria Agua MelPastelaria Agua Mel is definitely a pub to visit. They have a beautiful view at the back. The orange juice is fantastic, and they have a wide variety of pastries and cakes. Plus friendly staff, it's definitely worth a visit!
Try a "Tosta Mista" (tostie ham / cheese) or "Tosta de Queijo" (tostie cheese), they are delicious! Made of Portuguese bread, warm, large and very tasty.

Restaurant "O Folclore" is a very good restaurant, frequented by rain nationals.
A good restaurant is "A Cataplana", part of Alte, peace and quiet, excellent food, wonderful views and very friendly and efficient staff.
Restaurant "A Ponte" on the N124 road, the best local food in the region of Alte, fresh fish, good main dishes and delicious local desserts.Een other center of Alte are the two wells,

Fonte Pequena and Fonte Grande (big and small water source). In the old days gathered the women of the village are in the water to fill their pitchers and wash clothes. Now it is an attractive place that invites for a good picnic, a restful place.
