In historic Enkhuizen there are several nice eateries with beautiful terraces, including several on the water and also at the locks where it is nice to see all the boats pass by.
The resort has several outdoor play facilities, an indoor swimming paradise and various water sports facilities and catering facilities, including a beach pavilion.
The cities of Hoorn and Medemblik (Radboud Castle) are a fifteen-minute drive away and other nice cities such as Alkmaar, Haarlem and Amsterdam are all about 45 minutes away by car.
Shopping Outlet Batavia stad is easy to reach via the Houtribdijk, which is also a fun and special ride.

The villa has a spacious terrace with a large veranda and a beautiful view over the IJsselmeer and the beach. There are several piers and swimming jetties on the water.
