The room with a view and private bathroom is spacious and has plenty of seating. The location is very quiet. Many dining options within a 10 minute drive. The welcome was very friendly. Every day we were provided with important (walking) information about the island. We had a wonderful week.

Very nice location with swimming pool, nice spontaneous engaging host and woman with good tips and ideas. Super breakfast with fantastic views of the beautiful garden and sea. Good spacious room with balcony for 2 pers. Nice spacious bathroom. The only small downside we could think of is that the restaurants are about 3 kilometers away down the mountain.

Location practically convenient: supermarket around the corner and close to highway connection after which you can reach any place on the island
Location less practical: keep in mind that it is a lot away from the Funchal stand. You will make more car km. Rental car indispensable.

The room has a nice view of the surroundings and the Atlantic Ocean.

Quinta da Colina is a great starting point for viewing Madeira.
