During key handover at our home, the landlord told us that his brother-in-law, in the apartment next door, was doing odd jobs and there might be some nuisance.
Unfortunately, it turned out that the brother-in-law had hired a number of construction workers for this job and a complete renovation was underway. This meant that we could not stay in the apartment between 07.00 and 15.00 hours due to the use of heavy drills, demolition hammer, stone saws and other work. This was also accompanied by a lot of dust as well as stench from paint work and that 6 days a week.
The reason for the landlord to say was that he found this annoying but could not do anything about it. We turned down his offer to come again.
As far as information on the apartment was concerned, as the previous tenant has already reported, it turned out to be still missing. Only the folder with some brief data was present.
As far as Nea Makri is concerned, nice place, but indeed for a week after or start of holiday.
Too bad, but our vacation was to the moon.

For context, the original rental period had been postponed for two years due to corona, so it was a bored timing that the neighbors were renovating during your stay, but this was out of our control. We hoped to make up for it by offering to let you stay in our apartment again for free, now that the renovation is finished.
