Celebrated with family and friends last Christmas and New Year's Eve in this beautiful cottage! Slept on the sofa bed in the living room which slept wonderfully and didn't have that annoying bulge in the middle that you so often find. Also as a non-hiker had a great time because of the places and sights you can visit in this non-touristy part of Tuscany. Cottage excellent (with garden of all places!), very nice that fresh bakery and supermarket and ATM and 2 restaurants are within walking distance!! Enjoyed it, would like to go back, highly recommended as far as I'm concerned!!

We wanted to go & see the Abby of San Galgano and Siena and got this house into the bargain when we looked for suitable accomodation. The location also enabled us to go on a day trip to Elba. Communication with the owners was easy and we loved the village and the apartment. A tip: ask for fresh homemade food of the day in the local pizzeria (La Tana dell’ Upo)

Had a great autumn holiday, the house completely met our expectations. Not luxurious at all, but comfortable. Lots of chestnuts picked up during walks in the surrounding hills and puffed on the bbq in the garden. The special autumn menu in the Locanda La Ciottolona in the village was very good (book in advance, the first time it was full when we came). The nice Italian upstairs neighbors are old and live there permanently. We didn't hear them, but we did see them outside from time to time.

A wonderful place to discover Tuscany and come home to the real Italy in peace! The village and the house offer everything you need for a nice holiday. I'd love to come back.
