What a wonderful stay we had at Casa Amici! For those who want to experience the real Tuscany, this is a great base. Boccheggiano is a friendly village, with a good bakery and supermarket with even a butcher and fine restaurants. Everything within walking distance. The house is atmospheric, with a living room with fireplace, a kitchen downstairs, where you can eat with the door open when the weather is nice, or choose to sit in the garden at the top at the back. There are two good bedrooms and well equipped bathroom. There is a lot to see in the area. A car is recommended, although once you are there, you can find everything you need in the village. There is a lot to see in the area, such as Massa Marittima, the abbey of San Galgano, villages such as Chiusdino and Montieri and the seaside resorts of Follonica and Castiglione della Pescaia.

In August we had a week's holiday in Boccheggiano with our children. A beautiful authentic Italian village. Our first impression was, how beautiful it is here, really a place to relax. Narrow streets full of picturesque houses and a magnificent view. Our 3 children enjoyed it immensely. The house is fully equipped, when we were cooking the doors were open and the children could play on the square. The garden was also lovely, here you had a beautiful view and we enjoyed the tranquility of a village. Get fresh bread from the bakery every day and drink an espresso in the coffee shop around the corner. Here you can also enjoy a beautiful view! We have made several trips, to the beach, the swimming pool in the village, but also to beautiful nature where we swam in streams and caught fish. We also went to Sienna and Grossetto for a day, which is an hour's drive. All in all, we had a wonderful holiday and the cottage exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to get to know the real Tuscany, far from tourism!

We spent a week with our 3 children (3,5,8 years) in Casa Amici during the summer holidays. We enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay by 4 days. It really felt like coming home. Wonderfully quiet, in the middle of a beautiful authentic Italian village far from tourism. Exactly what we love! With children, the garden was really a godsend, the owners had set up a swimming pool which was perfect for the mornings. The square in front of the door and the playground in the village were also nice places to play. Our favorite is Panne & Marmelata, a restaurant with a swimming pool. It is beautifully situated at the foot of the village in a beautiful green area. Here you can really relax and enjoy the beautiful view of Boccheggiano. You can perfectly enjoy the whole day here, children swim, have a nice lunch or dinner in the orchard and enjoy tasty dishes. The other day we often drove to one of the many sandy beaches (40 min drive). Children have enjoyed it here, it is not deep and the sea is calm. A day wouldn't have been complete if we hadn't eaten ice cream in Massa Marittima, here is a gelateria with delicious ice creams. The cottage was lovely, clean, equipped with all comforts and the surroundings are beautiful. It fits perfectly with our image of a nice holiday far from tourism. Definitely worth repeating!

Celebrated a week's holiday in this nice comfortable house. Autumn is a beautiful time, colorful trees and beautiful views. The wood stove in the hallway works well and provides pleasant warmth. Been out and about a few times, especially to Follonica, where you can walk straight onto the beach in the center and walk endlessly.

We have already had many very positive experiences with Annemarie as a landlady and thank you very much for the great hospitality and the quick answers to questions. The apartment is very cozy and stylishly restored and together with the charm of the small village a place to feel good. Thank you for the great time!

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. Two large bedrooms and a cozy living room where we sat by the fireplace in the evening. During the day it was still lovely in the garden in the sun. At night it was very quiet and during the day we occasionally heard the sound of children playing. We made trips to Montieri and Massa. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Abbey of San Galgano. The villagers were very nice and helpful.

The house is attractive and offers everything you need. And you can also sit outside. TIP: the water from the kitchen tap can be piping hot, so be careful with that. In short, a surprising, comfortable and very reasonably priced accommodation including a real village feeling.

Lovely quiet place in very quiet village with great restaurant 1 min walk. The village is all very old which you have to see the charm of. The house is also old but neatly renovated, certainly the kitchen is beautifully done!
