In 2009 we bought our former farm in Parfondeval, 320 km from Utrecht. It is a village on the edge of the French Ardennes in the department of Aisne. A very quiet area in a hilly landscape. The village of Parfondeval has 175 inhabitants. It is a real farming village, where the people are friendly and helpful and it is very quiet. It is not a tourist area, but there is plenty to do! Our house is on the edge of the village and overlooks the hills.
