We spent a week here at the end of July with our family (2 boys aged 13 and 16). Despite the bad weather, we had a great week. Beautiful cottage and perfect location on the water to rent a sloop. The villa park is a 5-minute walk to the small center of Terherne.
Everything is present in the cottage (dishwasher, washing machine, Senseo, coffee maker etc). The benches inside are a bit outdated but fine for 1 week. If you miss or need something in the house, it will be solved for you immediately. All in all, highly recommended to spend your holiday.

It was a lovely house and beautiful surroundings. Everything at hand. Also nice for the dogs is the fenced garden. Nice landlords! Definitely worth repeating

Fantastic location in relation to sailing opportunities and also for cycling (especially when the ferries go) there are many beautiful routes. The village has a supermarket and lots of nice restaurants.

The villa is a gem in the heart of Friesland near the water. The perfect get away to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature and picturesque towns nearby. Strongly recommended.
