About Bert & Marianne
We (Marianne and Bert) left the Netherlands 2 years ago to escape the rat race and we built our Monte Horizonte 11 years ago. And because we love silence, privacy and nature, this is the way we set up Monte Horizonte (Adults Only).
We leave our guests alone to relax and recharge the battery, but you are always welcome to come over for a chat, advice or help.
In addition, we still enjoy all the good things that Portugal has to offer, such as the good food and the wonderful wines, the empty beaches, the friendly Portuguese people, the clean air, the low crime rate, the fantastic climate along the ocean and daily life life.
Our motto for life is: collect as many good memories as possible while you can before it is too late.
