We stayed here in June 2022. Getting to the house is a challenge. Make sure you have a good car to get up. Car cannot be parked in the street, you have to park at the cottage itself (steep road down). First impression of the house is good. The alleged 'football field' could use some extra attention, this looks better in the photos.
Quite a few points which were not in order on arrival. This has been remedied in the course of the holiday. Contact with the landlord went very well before the holiday. But if you come up with points for improvement, you will soon be seen as whiny. An example; There is a gate for the steps to the pool. There is a sliding lock on this. It could not be retracted anywhere, so it could not be locked. All holes at different heights. We were with 2 young children, so the gate must also be locked. A slight nudge made the gate open. According to the owner, this was closed enough. Contact person on site did arrange it for us.
Owner more or less obliged us to have the holiday home viewed for sale. Yes, the house is/was for sale. As a result, we were asked to leave the house, while our belongings are everywhere. Supposedly a tenant's obligation, but is nowhere to be found. That is why we have refused to do so.
You really miss an air conditioner in the 3rd bedroom.

Closing the gate was a bit difficult. Since there was still a maintenance man present due to your earlier arrival than expected, the hole was already widened after an hour so that the gate could close more smoothly.
On the fenced area 3 floors below there are fruit trees that can sometimes lose leaves, this is just nature. This area is covered with fake grass to hide the septic tanks underneath which are necessary in the mountains.
The house is indeed for sale and the request for viewing was asked - with the choice whether you wanted to be present - but we understand when a tenant does not want this and there was no further insistence on this.
The house is located on the side of a mountain at an altitude of 300 meters. This allows you to enjoy a beautiful panoramic view. The driveway is indeed steep and it takes some getting used to the first time, but every car or van has always been able to use the driveway to the house. After a few days you approached us by e-mail if we had a solution for your car: you parked it in the driveway of the neighbors who did not appreciate it. The caretaker had already offered her own car which you had refused, so unfortunately we could not help you further. In the end, you will have used the driveway for the remaining 10 days without any problems.
It is a pity to obtain this score after all the efforts that have been made to meet your wishes and allow you to enjoy your stay to the fullest.
