About Bas & Kari ten Hagen
For many years we have been coming with great pleasure to the Loire region and le Bois du Chillou, a medieval hunting castle which has been completely restored by the last owners. Here we enjoy the wonderful peace and quiet and the environment where time has stood still. When we are not there, we rent out the renovated outbuildings of the castle with private swimming pool, private tennis court, many terraces and gardens (1.5 hectares) in complete privacy.
Ideal also for children! For socializing is the famous Chinon (12 min) with its many good restaurants, shops, markets, wines, etc. The region is also famous for its many beautiful castles and wine tastings.
Our nice English speaking caretaker Alicia welcomes our guests and lives 10 min away. In short, a very nice quiet place that can be reached after a small quiet road via a beautiful driveway.
