Le Seba Ouest is an ocean of silence and tranquility. The lawns and forest belonging to the house give an overwhelming feeling of space. The swimming pool itself (clean) and the accompanying terrace are great places to stay when the weather is nice. It was maintained weekly by a 'gardener', but his arrival deviated from the stated frequency and day. Outdoor furniture is good and plentiful, as well as a barbecue. The immediate surroundings are also both accessible and beautiful. When you look a little further, it is a pity that (at 3 to 4 km) windmills have been/will be built that attack the structure of forest paths.
The amount of material (indoor and outdoor game material, books, CDs, videos and DVDs) in the house is overwhelming. Information about possible activities is clear and gives a good idea of the possibilities in good and bad weather. Also about the presence of various food processors, only something positive can be said. Washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, fridge freezer, ... they are present and function properly. Remarkable in this day and age is the lack of Wi-Fi.
The layout of the house is perhaps the most notable point of interest. Kitchen and room are central, but in fact there are only two sleeping areas: there are many sleeping places, but hardly separated. For example, one of the master bedrooms is only accessible by a smaller bedroom. The other bedroom has a loft with sleeping accommodation. In short, when you are with different couples and also want privacy, that can be difficult. In addition, the only bathroom has an open connection to a bedroom. The bathroom itself is practically furnished. Shower and bath function fine, but the ventilation leaves much to be desired, so there is often a stale smell. This may be partly caused by the marten(s) present, and the hiding places of his/their prey between the ceilings. These marten(s) also made noise at night due to their movements between the ceilings. The toilet is an authentic in terms of space, so very small/low.
Concluding: Le Seba Ouest is a wonderful place to relax, where we have felt at home.
