We, Hans and Anja Graven, were given the opportunity at the end of 1999 to buy the then old dilapidated farm. It was always our dream to restore an old farmhouse in style and to preserve the nostalgia. We decided to make a group accommodation. Our guests must feel at home in De Grenswachter. And it worked. The result is a comfortable and attractive accommodation in which people can experience living in the countryside in the Achterhoek.

We celebrated our annual family weekend, with 21 adults, 2 teenagers and 5 young children. The location was perfect. The bedrooms are basic, but the common area downstairs and the space around the farmhouse are fantastic!
