Wonderful Christmas celebrated in Schoorl. The cottage is cozy and cozy and fully equipped. The surroundings are beautiful, a short walk and you are in the great outdoors. Delicious!

The host Jan has put a lot of work into this beautiful cottage and the surrounding garden. The cottage is cozy and attractively decorated (here and there a bit colonial but also nice figurines, pots etc). Very nice sauna. The location is great, right next to the dunes. Schoorl is a nice village with shops and restaurants, but don't go looking for a cappuccino. Tip: bring slippers in the cold months because of the stone floor.

The entire inventory is of excellent quality as well as the plumbing. Bathroom stays damp for quite a long time. It seems like a good idea to install a bathroom fan. The holiday home is in a very quiet location. The shopping centre of Schoorl is 1.5 km away and the beaches of Hargen and Camperduin are 4 km away. Worth repeating, so we immediately booked again for next year!

We really liked the Leemhuis and it is located in a beautiful garden. Only the photos gave us a first feeling that the house would be free in the garden, but that is not the case. The Leemhuis is close to the owner's house and that gave us a disappointing feeling at first. In retrospect, our finding is that it had no influence, it was great and we had complete freedom.

Our stay at the Leemhuis was very pleasant. A complete, modern and practical attractive house. A magnificent view and unobstructed location. Host and hostess are very cordial. In short, great! We will definitely be back.

Spacious house on the edge of the dune area. All amenities available. House is neat with several seating options. Neat kitchen with all necessary appliances except a microwave. Nice bed in the separate spacious bedroom. The shower is also spacious and has a nice shower head. A mixer tap would be an improvement. There is a large garden behind the house where you can sit/lie down.

Almost perfect. Actually, we only missed a freezer section in the (spacious!) fridge. As a result, we couldn't use the cooling elements of our cooler bag. And maybe some would miss a microwave for defrosting meals? But we cook ...

Oh, and that garden! Delicious!

What a lovely place! The cottage is cozy and furnished with great care and taste. The kitchen is very complete (especially if you like to cook). A very nice and large garden with a great diversity of plants, flowers and fruit trees. There is a well-stocked bookcase. The cottage is within walking distance of the center of Schoorl. And less than 10 minutes from the beach.
Jan and Sita are an attentive host and hostess. We will definitely come back.
