Lovely old house with thick walls and a personal décor. Everything you need is there. Super shower with remarkably powerful spray because the house is located at the bottom of the water reservoirs. On a rainy day, the wood-burning stove is very easy to light and maintain. Great mattresses. A fully equipped kitchen with even 3 cheese slicers. Try to find that outside the Netherlands. The garden is huge and there is a lovely swimming pool. From the terrace a beautiful view over a valley. Because the garden is fenced, the dogs could be released all day. The environment is as French as it gets, without being touristy. Every day to the bakery in Savigny-en Sancerre, where on Tuesdays there is also a small market with meat for the BBQ and dishes such as kidneys in Madeira sauce.   Buying wine from the local winemakers and goat cheese from the local goat cheese farms (but where were the goats?). The owner responds very quickly to large and small questions via whatsapp, . And all this is easy to travel in 1 day (it took us 7:45 hours from the Randstad with two stops). We would love to come back in August Inge!

It is a beautifully situated cottage with a lovely garden and great views. The facilities of the cottage are fine, with a super nice landlady. And the area is wonderfully quiet. In short, enjoy.

If you are looking for peace and privacy, this cottage is the place to be, fantastically located with beautiful views. Small shops at 5 minutes by car, large supermarkets and restaurants at 20 minutes. Ideal if you don't want to be in the middle of the hustle and bustle, but do want to visit it every now and then. Nice garden, well-equipped kitchen and excellent sanitary facilities. The house is authentic and with thick stone walls wonderfully cool when it's hot outside. A bit damp inside and the picnic table as a dining table outside we found a bit spartan if you want to have a drink/dine a little longer. A few pillows would make it a little more enjoyable. Anyway, we came back wonderfully recharged!

We had a fantastic time in the beautiful cottage of Inge. Enjoyed the pool, the garden, the cottage, the kitchen, the terraces and the view! We will definitely come back again.
