This holiday home is very nice. Fully equipped, practically furnished and clean. Modern kitchen. The terrace is well exposed to the wind and is shaded, which is important in the tropics. The landscaping gives good privacy compared to the other houses. Nice swimming pool ! Good location in relation to city/supermarket and the beaches. We would love to come back again!

I just semi-retired working for Wyndham and Diamond Resorts 0f which the last 13 years in Las Vegas NV.
I need not stress how important the quality of stay is and even more attention to detail and especially service. Blije Rust is certainly not quality-wise for whom I worked but I vow my stay was splendid. Hilde and Gerrit are truly a strong asset to the owner. The sheets and towels were done in not the usual industrial detergent and fabric softner which means pleasantly sleeping and drying with no fear.
I would commend this resort to any0ne knowing they'll be pleasantly surprised.

Actually, only one word is needed: top accommodation! That starts with the friendliness and quick response of the landlord, Leonard Bloem. And last but not least, the friendliness and speed of the manager(s) of the accommodation. Both in the run-up and during our stay, both were available in no time and were immediately ready for us. Class!

The holiday home is equipped with (almost) all comforts: the beds are comfortable and sleep excellently, both bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning. The bathroom is on the small side, especially for four people, but is comfortable with a spacious shower and a washer/dryer. There is something to criticize about the bathroom: the shower cubicle does not close properly at the side and bottom, making it a water ballet after showering. And the towels (one set per person) can actually be replaced and two sets per person is not an unnecessary luxury for longer stays.

The kitchen inventory is quite complete; A dishwasher, on the other hand, is missed, especially with a larger group than two people.

The furniture is basic, but fine. Except for the two armchairs in the living room, which are a bit soaked up.

In terms of location, this accommodation is, as far as I'm concerned, also an absolute must! In the middle of the island, within 20 minutes at the airport and within half an hour in the heart of Willemstad, within three quarters of an hour at all other popular locations. Groceries on the island are quite expensive (such as the Carrefour Market and Van den Tweel/Albert Heijn): go to the Centrum Supermarket which is located nearby, with a more than full range, including Dutch products (JUMBO Huismerk), good value for money, friendly staff and good service.

The beach 'around the corner', that of Blauwbaai, is quite pricey for daily visits at 20 NAF per person, but there are plenty of other beaches/bays that are at least as nice, or if possible even more fun, to visit.

In short: if you are looking for a pleasant stay on Curaçao and you want a great price-quality, then Blije Rust (6) is highly recommended! In fact, we are so satisfied that we will book here again next time!

The apartment itself is very clean, practically furnished and equipped with everything you need in an apartment. What is also nice is that the site is under surveillance. The area is quiet.
