A very nice place, 10km inland, quite high in the mountains, hospitable landlords Anneke & René, with a very authentic Greek restaurant nearby. We have been here for over 2 weeks. You are the only two tourists among genuinely nice villagers.

If you like luxury and convenience, you won't really feel satisfied in this place. That's exactly what we weren't looking for.

If you like luxury and convenience, you won't really feel satisfied in this place. That's exactly what we weren't looking for.
In this beautiful place you will experience the real Greek village mentality: social, very kind, generous and full of confidence. Even after a week, some residents take you to your heart and vice versa. Not to mention the beautiful nature, high up in the mountains: between all the greenery the countless crickets that wake you up every morning. Apart from a flat tire, on the same road to and from the B&B, we had an encounter with owl and a fox in one of the many bends.
The bridge to it was René and Anneke who, with these same characteristics and their view of the world, transported us to beautiful places and the accompanying stories.
They themselves are warm-hearted people who are not afraid to share their experiences and the tastiest (homemade) food/drinks. They will tell you the most beautiful places in Samos!
No crowds here but very personal interaction!
