Very happy with our choice. The house is located in an oasis, is super nice and livable and was for us as a family exactly what we needed. Nice pool, nice beds and good cooking utensils in the kitchen. We can't think of any major areas for improvement.

The house is beautiful with all kinds of places to sit.
Oranges, figs and avocados can be picked in no time, so that was fresh orange juice every morning. Beautiful pool and garden was a picture!! Only an internal staircas...

Boy, what a fantastic time we had here! Upon arrival, immediately enchanted by the beauty of the house and garden. Getting up the next day and picking the oranges with all the children for the freshly squeezed gravy is of cours...

Boy, what a fantastic time we had here! Upon arrival, immediately enchanted by the beauty of the house and garden. Getting up the next day and picking the oranges with all the children for the freshly squeezed gravy is of course opulence. The house is well laid out, with beautiful bedrooms and several bathrooms on each floor. The terrace upstairs offers a beautiful view over the garden and in the distance you can see a strip of sea. The garden is beautiful with beautiful vegetation. Swimming pool seemed bigger than expected and the children could not be kept away. The house is in a quiet area. The beautiful town of Tavira is a 20-minute drive away and the beautiful beaches of Armona (via boat from Olhao) and Barril (with train) are also a stone's throw away. Thoroughly enjoyed it and it says enough when the children start talking about 'can we go home again' and by that mean the villa!

Quinta Amarela is highly recommended for young and old, the house is so attractive and practical, but also very child-friendly..... which we enjoyed immensely as a family with children and grandchildren! We were there for one week....... In retrospect, we would have liked to spend more time on this site!
It was and "is"......... A house where everyone will immediately feel at home, where the Portuguese warmth and cosiness can also be found...... in the house, on terraces and in the garden!
The center of Moncarapocho is idyllic with a cozy village square! The people are very friendly and willing to help you in your search for a particular service! We had a nice contact with the bike owner, who had arranged a photographer for us! Had a delicious meal on the village square, and the walk from house Amerela to center is 10/15 minutes....... doable!
Contact with René was very pleasant, everything has been fulfilled as promised!
So hereby we say....... (8 adults and 5 children) for us a 10 with a griffel!

We had 6 wonderful days at Quinta Amarela. Even with the two of us, the house (we used the upper floor) is not too big. Tastefully and attractively furnished, fully equipped, more than complete kitchen. We didn't find the immed...

We had 6 wonderful days at Quinta Amarela. Even with the two of us, the house (we used the upper floor) is not too big. Tastefully and attractively furnished, fully equipped, more than complete kitchen. We didn't find the immediate surroundings very special but the house and the garden make up for everything, we spent hours at and in the beautiful swimming pool. Also the garden and terraces are very very nice and private.
The manager René is very nice and was always easily accessible via email or text message for questions. He even stayed in the other part of the house (ground floor) for the last few days. Moncarapacho is a sweet little village with a few nice restaurants and a great supermarket. We found Tavira a nice place to have something to eat in the evening, lively and lots of choice. In combination with a few days on the west coast, it was a very successful holiday. Thank you René for the good care, hope to see you next time!

We were very kindly received and escorted to the house, where everything we needed to know about the house was explained.
The garden and the house are really fantastic! Orange trees, which we were allowed to pick from every day, beautiful swimming pool and plenty of space. Also the house itself was great! Everything was there, even for the smallest of 1 year.
The service was also top notch! Good contact with the owner and the deposit was deposited into the account within a few days of returning home.
Thank you so much! We had a great week!

Delicious bbq-ed and enjoyed the sun on the terrace. But also nicely cooked, the kitchen is very well equipped.
Picking oranges in the garden to squeeze fresh juice. Lemons to go with the fish.
There were plenty of towels, the beds slept well and the bedding smelled so good. The whole house was neat and clean.
You can walk to the beautiful village of Moncarapacho, with a small market hall, with fresh vegetables and fish. And by car you can easily reach Olhão or Fuseta, where you can take the ferry to the beaches. And then 'coming home' to Quinta Amarela, a Portuguese dream.
