We had a great time in Cannes. The location is great, just off the promenade, shops etc.
The apartment seemed bigger in the photos than in reality, especially the living room is very small. The covered conservatory is large, but because of all the glass, the temperature rises high. Actually, the room was therefore not usable for sitting until the end of the afternoon. (not even with air conditioning) With 4 people (older children) the space is actually very small. As far as comfort is concerned, we found things to be desired. The chairs and stools that were there were very uncomfortable so that there was only a 2 seater sofa where you could easily sit. So too little for 4 people. The beds were comfortable but the sofa bed was slightly sagging, so you were in a pit. The décor is a bit dated and could use a refresh.
We found the price/quality ratio to be incorrect.

1) "Looked in the pictures bigger than in reality": the apartment is 60 m2 divided into three rooms. 60 m2 represents about four "3-star" hotel rooms.
2) "The porch is bright and warm even with the air conditioning": indeed all our customers come to the region because of the climate and colors. The brightness of the apartment is therefore usually seen as an advantage. The dramatic heat wave that affected the entire European continent during the stay of our guests (August 2021) has unfortunately not only affected many other Europeans at home or during their holidays across the continent, but also seriously affected them (forest fires, record high temperatures, etc.).
3) "décor a little dated": indeed, as can be seen in the photos, the apartment has an antique and vintage look by design that most of our guests find charming. This is probably one of the reasons why many are repeat customers and some even honor us with long-term stays.
4) "value for money": property within walking distance of the beach, shopping and nightlife in Cannes is likely to be more expensive than property in some of our host cities. Mid-August, the week of our guesthouse, is also the most expensive week of the year with all hotels and short-term rentals fully booked. For our economy-oriented guests, we recommend the months of May, June, September and October, with very pleasant spring and late summer weather. Winter stays are also very pleasant with fantastic value for money.
