Centrally located beautiful converted farmhouse to visit the sights in Normandy. Both inside and outside plenty of space to stay. Rural area, bakery and supermarket at +/- 3 km distance. Had a wonderful holiday.

Beautiful house to stay in with nice bedrooms. The thick walls keep it nice and cool inside, even when it's hot outside. The house has a beautiful garden where you can sit. There is also plenty to do in the area.

A nice French house, kitchen very dated, lots of space both inside and outside, very helpful landlord, location just a little too far from civilization and sea. A private swimming pool would therefore be nice.

Hygiene leaves much to be desired. I have the impression that there is no major cleaning after a stay. Having to turn on the dishwasher to clean...

Hygiene leaves much to be desired. I have the impression that there is no major cleaning after a stay. Having to turn on the dishwasher to clean dishes. Also had to vacuum on arrival because there was still dirt on the floors.

Pay separately for towels and bed linen consider factoring this into the price. Very pricey. Kitchen is also really in need of replacement.

Stay nice for once but not worth repeating.

Oh yes, there is a nest with horn rats in the ridge of the side wall. Good to have it removed.

There were a few stairs in the house, which are not placed in the advertisement. This is important for disabled people to know. The house was also beautiful, nicely decorated, with lovely fireplaces, and that is nice in the fall!

What a beautiful house (more like a farmhouse!) on a beautiful piece of land. Authentic French, tastefully decorated by the owners, you really experience the French countryside here. Lovely beds. I read in previous reviews that...

What a beautiful house (more like a farmhouse!) on a beautiful piece of land. Authentic French, tastefully decorated by the owners, you really experience the French countryside here. Lovely beds. I read in previous reviews that the hygiene leaves much to be desired. Our experience was that the refrigerator was indeed not clean, the sanitary facilities were. Apart from that, it's an old, big house, which I don't think you can expect to be dust-free in every corner. The space, the location, the atmosphere more than made up for this for us.
In the morning a walk to the bakery in Roncey (2x half an hour) to start the day. Beautiful wide beaches nearby. Many historic landing beaches in just over an hour. We chose Arromanches: the 360' Cinema is worth a visit (and it is -in addition to its impressive history- also a nice village).
When the weather is nice, eating at la Cale in Blainville-sur-mere (oysters and mussels with your feet in the sand) is highly recommended. Coutances is a nice little town. But a day of lazing in and around the house is also wonderful...; -)
