Neatly maintained house, with clear weather a beautiful view over the valley. Surrounding area is great for hiking. Some nice places in the area, you have to be in the car for a while. Groceries in Frankenberg, plenty of choice of supermarkets but is a 20-minute drive away. In winter, the wood-burning stove is desperately needed, otherwise fresh in the house.

We had a nice holiday here. We liked the cottage just fine, although you shouldn't have a problem climbing stairs. From the living room to the kitchen is also with a -short- staircase. And for a walk to the shop/restaurant you also need to be in good shape. The surroundings are beautiful and there is plenty to do, in short, we enjoyed it.

We had a wonderful holiday. There is a lot to do in the area and the nature is beautiful. In the cottage itself is a beautiful kitchen with all comforts. Personally, we missed curtains on the windows in the downstairs bedroom, ...

Personally, we missed curtains on the windows in the downstairs bedroom, so it was very light very early. And we thought the mattresses in the rooms upstairs needed to be replaced

We had a great time in Frankenau. The cottage is in a beautiful location and the owners are very friendly. There is also plenty to do in the area, especially ideal if you like hiking. Definitely recommended! :)

Beautiful location with very nice views of the hills. Park is quiet and ideal for nature lovers. A bit dated park and little (to no) atmosphere at, among other things, the restaurant at the park. However, directly in the village (2 min drive) very nice Gasthof and a little further away more than enough (dining) options. Everything else is present in the cottage.

The cottage is located on a former holiday park. The view is magnificent. From the balcony in the morning at eye level and a short distance we saw a red kite! Very bird-rich area with beautiful nature. In the evening and night it is wonderfully quiet and dark. Downsides are that the cottage itself is very noisy and lacks a washing machine. There is a drying rack for hand washing. The wood-burning stoves of the cottages in the park can cause smoke nuisance. Furthermore, it is a great cottage for a nice holiday in beautiful surroundings.
