We had a lovely time at Casa della Ponica. Enjoyed the amazing views of Lago di Como with the snowy alpine peaks in the background. You can walk straight to the lake where there is a well-maintained hiking trail. We enjoyed the sun from the various terraces. There are many nice places to visit in the area and a trip to Milan is also doable in a day. It is a nice personal family home where we quickly felt at home.

What a fantastic holiday! The week flew by. The surroundings are fantastic and how wonderful it is to come back to Casa della Poncia after a day out! Equipped with all comforts. Because we were there at Christmas, it was cold outside (until -9) The heating alone does not get warm, but the wood stove is wonderful!
The only downside is that many restaurants and small shops are closed in December (logical given the number of tourists) But despite this, we managed just fine and had a great holiday!!
