We didn't make many trips, so this review is really just about the house itself.

Positive: What a nice place and a lovely house, pool top, fans in all bedrooms, lovely showers, good internet. Kitchen super convenient, everything is there. Lovely games cabinet. Nice view. Total privacy, you can literally walk in your naked hole without anyone being offended. Nice restaurant (Le petit chaumière) within walking distance.

Negative: What was unfortunate was the presence of incredibly noisy insects (cicadas?) that made noise all day (at night they were fortunately quiet). Must be the time of year (end of July 2018). The road that runs nearby makes more noise than you would like, but it is doable, especially on the back terrace. The quality and amount of outdoor furniture is not optimal and we also found the indoor furniture old and not very comfortable.

Tip: a hairdryer would be handy. And an extra patch at the front of the terrace would be nice, because then you can sit in the shade all day.

We have been here from 7-7-2018 to 14-7-2018. Just one week, and that's way too short for this location! What a paradise on earth! In this place you really have a holiday, 100% privacy and you almost don't want to leave the cot...

We have been here from 7-7-2018 to 14-7-2018. Just one week, and that's way too short for this location! What a paradise on earth! In this place you really have a holiday, 100% privacy and you almost don't want to leave the cottage to explore the beautiful surroundings... Your own place in the middle of a valley/mountain/hill with a view of the village, even a small river/stream with waterfalls on the property, a place where children and adults can have a great time. The pool is lovely and beautifully situated (the view is beautiful). On the terrain itself we encountered all kinds of things (a deer in the morning, a scorpion, very large and beautiful caterpillars, beautiful butterflies and a lot of crickets. You really feel like you're in the middle of nature! And if you walk up the mountain/hill you have beautiful views of the area. The house is close to the beautiful village of Alba la Romaine where you can find everything you need (good bakery, small supermarket, nice restaurants). A few kilometers away you have some larger supermarkets. There is wifi available at the house (no TV, but that is not necessary and otherwise you use the wifi for this) and it has all the comforts that make your holiday pleasant. The place is also well situated for a day trip to the Pont du Arc, the cave of Madaleine (beautiful and impressive), the route along the Ardèche river with all its beautiful viewpoints, and pretty places like Vogue. You'll be there within half an hour. Plenty to do in the area! We only had contact with the owners by email, that all went perfectly and I think that if there would be something, it would all be solved fine, they give a good / nice impression and their pride of this place radiates from it! For us it is clear: we will definitely come back here (and then a little longer)! Grt., André, Charlotte, Finn, Noa.

Quietly located cottage. Good location of the pool at a safe distance from the cozy terrace (if children are present). Hygiene sanitary facilities in order but generally sloppily cleaned and maintained. It was a pleasant place ...

Inventory looks dated and could be replaced.

Beautiful location, complete privacy and yet within 1 km of a nice village with all basic facilities. Very nice indoor pool. Not luxurious, but very fully furnished house.

Nice house, nicely located, lots of privacy and a great view. The kitchen is somewhat dated, but functional. The pool is lovely.
