We had a wonderful holiday on the sunny Côte d'Azur for 2 weeks (1-15 September 2018). The weather was fantastic (28 degrees on average). Spacious house, nice swimming pool, beautiful view of mountains, antenna dish, therefore Dutch channels can be seen. Two points to consider. One in general: the house is located on a mountain, this means that you have to drive up a narrow road (every time). This means that the sea is not within walking distance, we found that difficult because you have to drive up and down again and again (we do have a large car). The beaches on the coast are not easily accessible by car, the roads are - even in September - full of parked cars. It is also not the case that you can 'just' drive to Cannes or Nice, that means hours of driving due to the busy and winding roads. We made 1 nice round trip through the hinterland, worth it, also here exciting sometimes because of the narrow roads. Saint Tropez is easy to do (being there around 9:00 suited us, still quiet). In other words: if you just want to stay in the area and not drive around too much, this house is a must. Our favorite beach + restaurant was Akwaba Beach Restaurant (Plage de Pramousquier), they have a parking lot for guests, accessible via dirt road. Point of attention two: please note, the beds are narrow (1.40 wide).
