We have rented the loft in the Veldzicht.Everything well furnished and cared for. Just always have lights on. It was quite dark. Secondly, we came on the hottest day of the year. Heat lingered for 4 days

We had a great week in beautiful Flanders. Het Veldzicht is centrally located for trips to historic cities such as Ghent and Bruges. A disadvantage is that there is hardly any daylight. We don't think it's possible to charge cleaning/service costs and pick up beds ourselves and bring waste down separately.

Have a good stay. However, there is a disadvantage in case of somewhat disappointing weather. It's a bit dark in the house and because you only have skylights, you can't see outside when you're in the living room. You can enjoy...

Have a good stay. However, there is a disadvantage in case of somewhat disappointing weather. It's a bit dark in the house and because you only have skylights, you can't see outside when you're in the living room. You can enjoy the field view when you sit next to the stove in the kitchen or... if you take a seat outside in the large garden.

The living room has a step halfway through. It would be helpful if that was properly marked. Also at night e.g. With a sensor base light. The step to the kitchen is difficult?

For privacy, it would be useful to install a 'room divider'. At the bedniche. We spent a very good time in this house. Definitely worth repeating.

We were kindly welcomed by Bart & Stefanie with a welcome drink. Het Veldzicht is a super nice place in a great location; Close to many nice cities and the coast. The beds were lovely and we had a great time. Bakery and superma...

We were kindly welcomed by Bart & Stefanie with a welcome drink. Het Veldzicht is a super nice place in a great location; Close to many nice cities and the coast. The beds were lovely and we had a great time. Bakery and supermarket nearby. It took us some time to get used to the fact that the landlords actually lived in the building and were therefore often present. You feel a bit burdened to sit in 'their' garden late at night, or to have breakfast in your sleeping outfit in the morning. The feeling of privacy is less anyway. But all in all, we had a fantastic time at Het Veldzicht! :)

We think it's a shame that you can only enter at 18.00
Then the first day is already over.
And we missed a chat with a cup of coffee on arrival.

Enjoyed despite bad weather. Location is perfect... Lille, Bruges, Ghent and Ostend nearby. Children and we quickly felt at home. and really recommend this cottage.

The apartment on the upper floor was surprisingly cool and well ventilated after the heat wave. (And the mosquito nets on all the windows keep (most) mosquitoes out!) We had a wonderful week in this beautiful characteristic country house so close to Bruges, Ghent and the sea. Bart and Stephanie gave us a warm welcome and had good tips for our trips. We enjoyed!
