The space, the tasteful décor, the comfort, the spacious swimming pool, the beautifully landscaped garden: all this created the super holiday feeling that we all had. The caretakers Monica and Luca are very attentive and helpful. Communication with the owner was quick and efficient.

We were with the whole family, 8 adults and 2 children (8 and 10 years).
We moved some lamps around to have good light above the table for the games.
It was lovely to have so much space.

In the second week of April we rented Il Mulino with 6 adults and three small children. Everyone felt at home. The weather was beautiful. In the morning we woke up to the sounds of the rushing stream, the church bells and the beating woodpecker. The small children had a lot of fun in the wheelbarrow that served as a swimming pool (the large pool was still covered) and on the trampoline in the tall grass. In and around the house, they had to be closely watched on the stone steps and on the balcony terrace. The bicycles present (very nice) were well used. The house's manual gives so many tips for activities and restaurants that it will last you for years. Luca and Monica, the administrators, always responded quickly and adequately to our questions. In short: it was a nice week in a tastefully decorated - fully equipped - house in beautiful surroundings.

Il Mulino is the perfect holiday home for groups, but even as a couple, it's not too big. Everyone had enough space for themselves and the weather was great in October as well. We made full use of the beautiful walking routes and the swimming pool during the day, and in the evening by the fireplace reading a book and listening to music. Contact with the landlord went smoothly and check-in and out was very simple. Highly recommended!

We spent a wonderful week in Il Mulino with two families.
The house is very spacious. We expect to come back sometime!

Nice large swimming pool and lovely garden.
Lots of peace and space. Excellent location for Lucca, Pisa, Florence and the surrounding area.
Lots of games and a large library.
In consultation, we can even charge the car (13A/220v/3kW). :-)
Spacious equipped kitchen and cozy living room and terrace.
Extensive information folder with lots of tips and great ideas.

Points of attention:
Be aware of mosquitoes. Mosquito nets and mosquito plugs nice.
Each room has a fan, no air conditioning. This was also not a problem in August. You get used to it quickly.

We had a blast living in the house for a week. The spacious house is located in a beautiful area in which you can do many activities like day trips to Lucca, Pisa and the beach. Luca and Monica, who take care of the house, are lovely people who drove us to the station a few times and helped us with grocery shopping. We couldn't have wished for a better vacation and home away from home!

A lovely, very spacious holiday home in a quiet area. Tastefully furnished with spacious kitchen and cozy bar in large, complete kitchen and good coffee machine!

A lovely, very spacious holiday home in a quiet area. Tastefully furnished with spacious kitchen and cozy bar in large, complete kitchen and good coffee machine!
Beds are comfortable and house is clean and well maintained. Outside quiet, rippling water and beautiful garden with large swimming pool and terrace, surrounded by oleanders, among other things. Lots to do in the immediate vicinity. The landlord has arranged everything down to the last detail with nice suggestions for restaurants and trips. You will also be warmly welcomed upon arrival, by someone who will show you around the house and to whom you can ask something during your stay. Conclusion: highly recommended!
