We were pleasantly surprised when we saw the brightly painted house and entered Casa Cameleao. A welcome feeling.
Great house, with many comforts. Especially in spring and summer when the weather can be very hot, this house is really comfortable.
You can sit on the sunny south-facing terrace and look out over the well-maintained garden with the Atlantic Ocean in the distance.
Since the four of us were guests here at the beginning of February, we were very happy with the pellet stove in the living room.
In the upstairs bedrooms it was good that we could use the 2 electric blankets, which were present, for the cold nights.
Our advice is: When this house is offered for rent so early in the year, it is recommended to place a mobile heater in every bedroom and shower, for example.
A mirror in the bedrooms is also a tip, especially if you are staying in the house with several people (especially with ladies) and the fact that there is one bathroom. Maybe a toaster to "peep up" the portuguese bread in the morning.
For the rest, we enjoyed, from and around the house, the extensive inventory, delicious meals at the many eateries in the area and the many nice villages, big cities, beautiful! Really recommendable.

We have been able to enjoy your house Cameleao for 10 wonderful days. A house with all the trimmings very comfortable.
From the terrace overlooking the pool and in the distance the sea is quite beautiful! From Casa Palmeira we made beautiful trips to beaches, markets and nice villages.
The village of Moncarapacho with nice terraces on the square where you can have a nice and cozy dinner in the evening.
The Ria Formosa nature reserve is also highly recommended!
We will definitely come back!

At the end of May and the beginning of June we were able to stay for 2 wonderful weeks in this beautiful, nice house in the Algarve!
The house was easy to find with the directions we had received from the owners. We stayed in casa cameleao, the house is beautifully renovated and we lacked nothing. We enjoyed the area around the house and the pool. The beautiful beaches that can be reached by boat are also recommended.
In short, two wonderful weeks, we will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful, authentic Portuguese house. Very nicely refurbished and very fully furnished. Great south-facing terrace with beautiful views, with the sea just visible in the distance. Village with all amenities 1.5 km away. Very pleasant contact with Dutch owner and local Portuguese caretaker (speaks excellent English). It is good to realize that the house is divided into 2 houses. We were in the part with a south-facing terrace with a nice view. The other property has the north-facing terrace, is closer to the road and doesn't have such a nice view. This house was not rented out during our stay, we had garden and swimming pool so for us alone, we liked that very much. It is also good to realize that during morning and evening rush hour, traffic on the nearby roads can be heard.
